Publication of emissions data
Each year, the NEa publishes the emissions data from the previous year with the aim of informing companies, traders and other interested parties of the CO2 emissions by participating companies. Provisional emissions data is released in April; definitive figures are released in May.
Provisional emissions data
The NEa publishes provisional emissions data about Dutch companies on 1 April.
Definitive emissions data
Following the provisional results, in early May the NEa publishes the definitive emissions data and the quantity of allowances surrendered.
The European Commission also follows this schedule when publishing emissions data for all companies participating in the EU ETS.
