The NEa uses the knowledge and experience gained as an independent executive authority to provide information to the government and other relevant parties.
The NEa has a statutory obligation to publish annual reports containing specific information from the Energy for Transport Registry (REV):
Energy for Transport HBE reports (6 times a year)
Report on Energy for Transport in the Netherlands (once a year)
Individual reports on registering companies (once a year).
The NEa also highlights relevant developments and issues opinions on implementation-related impacts.
Energy for Transport reports
Every HBE report provides insight into the total number of HBEs that are available in the REV accounts. The report distinguishes between the number of HBEs created by registering deliveries and the number of HBEs banked.
The HBE report published in March also provides insight into the total number of HBEs required to comply with the annual obligation. These reports are provided by the NEa to support the market.
From 4 July 2022 onwards, four types of HBEs will be reported on:
HBE Advanced (HBE-G)
HBE Conventional (HBE-C)
HBE Other (HBE-O)
HBE Annex IX-B (HBE-B)
Publication dates for HBE reports
Publication takes place on the following dates each year:
