Reporting

To comply with reporting obligations under Article 8 of the ReFuelEU Aviation Regulation, aircraft operators are required to complete and submit the ReFuelEU Aviation Template for Aircraft Operators, as outlined in Annex II of the Regulation. By March 31st each year, obligated aircraft operators report on the quantities of uplifted fuel per union airport.

ReFuelEU Aviation Digital Reporting Tool

Aircraft operators use the Sustainability Portal from EASA, a digital reporting tool, for fulfilling the reporting obligations as outlined in Article 8 of the Regulation and requesting exemptions.

EASA also has a comprehensive ReFuelEU Aviation page dedicated to providing documentation and information for aircraft operators regarding the implementation of ReFuelEU Aviation. Here you can find the latest documentation such as the most recent reporting template, and an optional ReFuelEU Aviation Fuel Monitoring Tool designed to simplify monitoring and reporting for aircraft operators and streamline the verification process for verifiers.

Exemptions

For detailed information on the exemptions to the refuelling obligation per article 5(2) and 5(3) of the regulation, please consult the guidance documents provided by the European Commission and EASA. These documents can be accessed on the ReFuelEU Aviation page by EASA.
