Registration requirement CO2-registry

The responsible department, i.e. the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, has put in place an additional risk mitigation measure regarding the CO2 registry. The measure constitutes a requirement for holders of person holding accounts and trading accounts to register with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

The new rule applies to all holders of both new and existing person holding accounts and trading accounts and will be published in the Dutch Emissions Trading Regulation.
