Allocation suspended

For 6 installations the allocation for 2018 is suspended. The NEa expects that the allocation for these installations will decrease significantly in 2018. By doing this, the NEa prevents installations from receiving more allowances than they are entitled to receive. The contact persons of the installations concerned have received a so called ‘suspension decision’.

Aviation

The 11 aircraft operators covered by the EU ETS in the Netherlands which have received a free allocation will also receive their 2018 allowances during the night of 26 to 27 February. In total, the aircraft operators will receive 1,3 million emission allowances this year.
