About class verification and review timelines: we see that classifications can be slow, and many FuelEU reports remain under verification for an extended period. What happens if the review is not completed before 31/01/26, or if it is completed only at the very last moment and we are therefore late with submission to Thetis MRV? What would be the consequences in such a case?

Delays in classifications and with verifiers are unfortunately a reality that can only be prevented by starting the process early. Delays with verifiers is therefore no valid reason for late submission. However, if you are confronted with such a case, please contact the Dutch Emissions Authority as soon as possible, so that we are aware of the situation and can assist if possible.
