Results of improvement reports

Some improvements recommended by the verifier can be implemented directly in the monitoring plan. Other improvements require an action plan.

Improvement that can be implemented directly

When a verifier recommends improvements that can be implemented directly by changing the monitoring plan, you can do so and notify the changes to the NEa. For those improvements you do not need to submit an improvement report. In the notification, you report that the reason for the changes are the recommendations of the verifier.

Aircraft operators must notify modifications to the monitoring plan as significant or non-significant changes. Please refer to “Notifications ETS aviation”.

Improvements that cannot be implemented directly

When a verifier recommends improvements that cannot be implemented directly, you are required to draft an improvement report. In the report you describe the actions to be taken, including a planning. Those actions might eventually lead to changes in the monitoring plan, which you need to notify to the NEa.
